Blake Jordan is Civitas’ Director of Marketing and Principal, co-leading with a passion for design as she focuses on the firm’s foundations of culture, reputation, and business strategy.
Blake first joined Civitas in 2005 and served as Marketing Coordinator for nearly three years before moving on to gather a diverse mix of design industry experiences. In 2018, she returned as Director and has guided the firm’s marketing and business development efforts ever since.
Blake’s early career roots in network television production and videography give her a unique perspective on the power of storytelling and the importance of listening in order to decipher details, articulate challenges, and define solutions. She brings creative and strategic thinking along with a strong eye for detail to every communications effort and is also an active participant in a variety of design projects, frequently working with Civitas’ teams of landscape architects and urban designers to discover and craft the project narratives that ultimately shape design solutions. The daughter of an architect, she’s been surrounded by designers her whole life and brings her own bold creativity to the table as she shapes Civitas’ brand and enhances the firm’s visibility.
