Kyle Hopkins is a landscape architect, licensed in the state of Colorado. He has spent a decade working in landscape architecture and urban design offices, where he has honed his craft as a design-driven practitioner.
Kyle is most interested in the rich, interwoven connections between culture, nature, placemaking, and design. He is a principled designer who strives to balance economical and buildable design solutions while pushing boundaries in his work around the US and internationally.
Kyle received a master’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from The Ohio State University. While in graduate school, Kyle spent a year living and working in Shanghai, China, where he studied landscape architecture at Tongji University, and wrote a graduate thesis on Biophilic design and its usefulness in dense urban places.
Outside of work, Kyle enjoys traveling throughout Colorado with his family in their camper, DIY projects, and playing music.
