Diane is a spirited landscape architect whose passion lies in public-interest landscapes. Having lived in cities as diverse as Los Angeles, Boston, Milan, and Washington, DC, Diane has always been fascinated by the pace and form of urban life and public parks in particular. Since joining Civitas in 2013, Diane has taken on a lead role in the design and construction of the North Carolina Museum of Art’s expanded 34-acre park, the design of a flexible urban market plaza in the Crystal City neighborhood of Arlington, VA, and the park master planning for Stapleton. Currently, Diane is involved in the design of the Virginia Key Flex Park in Miami as well as the Painted Prairie sustainable development adjacent the Denver International Airport.

Diane holds a Masters in Landscape Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Cinema-Television from the University of Southern California.
